Atlantic Health is Seeking a Part-Time Certified Nurse Midwife

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Part-Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). With support from board-certified obstetricians, social workers, nutritionists, and nurses, we are looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to work inpatient on the labor and delivery floor at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. This is a great opportunity within a growing service line to make a difference in the community and be an integral part of the obstetric care team. Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is a baby-friendly designated hospital and features a state-of-the-art labor and delivery unit and maternity department with 54 private patient rooms, including four birthing tubs. We proudly deliver more than 5,400 babies each year.  

CNM will be responsible for providing high-quality, direct patient care by diagnosing, monitoring and examining women intrapartum and postpartum labor and discharge home. Additionally, the CNM will be responsible for completion of medical records and billing submission. 

Qualifications

• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board
• Must be licensed as registered nurse (RN) or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• BLS certification required
• Ob/Gyn experience required
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
