Job Type: Per Diem
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluation and treatment of inpatients and outpatients upon referral from a physician. The PT develops a plan of care for each patient referred and is responsible for its implementation and modification as necessary in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures relative to care and treatment of patients.
Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum: Experience and education must be any combination recognized by the state of Florida for license as a Physical Therapist
- Preferred: Master’s in Physical Therapy, Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Experience:
- Preferred: One year experience in an acute care hospital as a Physical Therapist
Other Qualifications:
- Current Florida Physical Therapist License
- Current CPR card
Required Certifications:
- BLS
