Physical Therapy Assistant - CAREGIVER HEALTH

Physical Therapy Assistant at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Under the supervision of the Program Manager and consultative supervision of the Physical Therapy Practice Manager, the Physical Therapist Assistant I is directed and supervised by the Physical Therapist of record, to perform specific components of physical therapy interventions.  The Physical Therapist Assistant I may modify an intervention only in accordance with the changes in patient/client status and within the scope of the plan of care that has been established by the Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant I follows an individualized performance development plan to maintain current knowledge and be competent in critical areas, support program goals, Medical Center goals and objectives, functions and philosophy.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Upon hire: California Physical Therapy Assistant License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: APTA member
